For over 35 years, on the anniversary of Roe V. Wade, hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans participate in the annual March for Life in Washington, DC.
In 1974 the first March was held on the West Steps of the Capitol and the numbers have gradually risen through the years. These growing numbers give testimony to the increasing ranks of pro-life Americans and to the importance of the March’s work.
Like so many, my heart is there and my prayers are with those in our nation’s capitol today, but pressing family obligations keep me close to home. If this is you as well, you can still participate via the Virtual March for Life. Please click on the banner over on the right hand side .. there were about 30,000 registered when I signed up .. this morning, as I write there are over 62,000. Even if you can’t be there in person, let your voice be heard.
